Authority Black Book Review

Hey guys. if you haven’t had the chance to pick up your absolutely free copy of Jack Humphrey’s social marketing classic Authority Black Book 2.0 (2008 ed.) then you’re way behind the times and missing out on a great resource.

While many people have been spinning their wheels trying to figure out how to effectively leverage social marketing Jack Humphrey has been doing it.

Just Last night I was having an im conversation with a fellow blogger and the topic of the Authority Blackbook came up. Much to my surprise this blogger friend of mine hadn’t heard of Jack Humphreys Authority Blackbook and the web 2.0 strategies in it.

So this got me to thinking and wondering how many of you haven’t heard of it either?

Have you? If you have you don’t really need to keep reading this post but even if you have then comment about your own successful or non successful experiences using the web 2.0 strategies contained in Jack Humphreys Authority Blackbook. We would all be interested to know what your results have been and what you think about the information contained in it.

It DOES require you to give your email address but no worries since Jack isn’t one of those blatant email promoters that make you want to feed to the spam police.

To tell you the truth I am surprised I never did an Authority blackbook review before now, or even made mention of it. I did an archive search this morning, because I was going to send a link from my blog to that friend of mine. And much to my shock I had never mentioned it before today, sorry about that. YOU must have been on crack that week. Lol.

I got my copy of Authority Blackbook in June. The Middle of june actually.

And heres what the stats for the blog I was going to use it on looked like before I started using it. (i.e. For all of you newbie marketers don’t take ANYTHING for face value.  Take the time and make sure a method or technique ACTUALLY works before proceeding.)

Then in July (As of the 17th)

I’m not that great at math but I do believe that’s more than a 400% increase in traffic all from an ABSOLUTELY free report. I bet you want to download it now don’t you? If not then I just assume you have no real use for targeted traffic to your blog, and thats ok. But do us all a favor and LEAVE now! Just kidding you can stay just in the corner. . .

Authority Black Book PROS

For me one of the best lessons I learned from it was how to use trackbacks properly to drive traffic to my blogs. This video is one of the links and tutorials that is provided from his blog from inside the report. If you, like me had been doing trackbacks incorrectly then you will gain a lot from this.

For all of you who have never heard of “content partnerships” he goes into some detail about this. In fact that one idea is something I am the process of using on this blog so If you’re interested you can email me at authors@bruceahoover.com. Here is a little bit of information on this concept:

Do a partnership with another blogger in your niche and agree to write

Given the sheer amount,type and complexity of the information that is covered in the book I think someone that is absolutely new to internet marketing,blogs and web 2.0 properties in general will have a TEDIOUS time of it. Note I didn’t say HARD rather they will have to do some work to GET IT but once that learning curve is dealt with they will have acquired some really valuable information on the cheap.
